Batu Caves, 15 October 2016 – UD Quester trucks have been a symbol of reliability, durability and fuel efficiency since its introduction in Malaysia in 2013. Following that, the new Quester 8L launched this May has been receiving encouraging response from customers. Therefore, it is no surprise that the high quality vehicles have been eagerly snapped up by new customers and heavily promoted by existing users.
UD Trucks recently embarked on a nationwide Quester Open House events to showcased the new UD Quester 8L trucks in different locations in both Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia , namely Penang, Perak, Johor, Sarawak and Sabah.
During the event, UD Trucks handed over new Quester trucks to a few companies with more to be delivered in the coming months. Some of these customers are new to UD Trucks and some have been UD Trucks user for years. This is a testament to the gaining popularity of the UD Quester and the continued trust of our customers towards the UD Trucks brand.
Among those keen to discover UD’s strengths is first-time purchaser Muhammad Mujahidd Che Hamid, director of Kilang Beras Jelapang Selatan (M) Sdn Bhd. “I am really looking forward to seeing how UD Trucks perform in my company,” said Muhammad Mujahidd, after purchasing one unit of UD 11L Quester 6x4 cargo trailer to supplement his existing fleet.

Power Brite Sdn Bhd has been a customer since 2013 and have recently added 5 units Quester trucks to their fleet. The company is a subsidiary of KTS Group, specializing in plantation business mainly oil palm plantation, harvesting, and refinery of crude palm oil for exports. Xing Long Logistics Sdn Bhd is a transport and forwarding company based in Miri, Sarawak. They have recently acquired 6 units of UD Quester trucks to transport heavy machinery, vehicles and goods throughout East Malaysia. Rimbunan Ekspres Sdn Bhd added another unit of UD Quester truck to facilitate delivery of fertilizers to its customers within Sarawak. For Lieng Bang Transport Sdn Bhd, the additional UD Quester trucks purchased is to the deliver rock and soil for construction use all across Kuching. These companies expresses their confidence with the brand as it is backed by many years of UD Trucks’ manufacturing quality, its engine developed based on advance Volvo Group technology, and TCIE’s wide aftersales network support.
Kim Hui Trading is a cattle transportation company and they are new to UD Trucks. Having heard of positive response via word of mouth, Kim Hui Trading decided to purchase a unit of UD Quester truck. They have expressed their desire to purchase more UD Trucks in the future.
